Sheryl underwood is an American actress as well as a comedian and TV host famous for her part in The Talk's daytime co-host role. Sheryl was born in Arkansas and raised at Little Rock, Atwater and Atwater. Sheryl was raised by the midst of a challenging family. She spent the majority of her childhood caring for her ailing sister Frankie. She had a lot of difficulties with her mother growing as a teenager. Sheryl claimed that at one instance, she was stabbed by her mother the father of her child because she was getting close to her. Sheryl was drafted into the military upon her college graduation. However her interest lay in comedy. She was the only female that made it to the 1989 competition Miller Lite Comedy Search. She began her TV career in 1992 when she was a regular actor during the HBO comedy series Def Comedy Jam. She also appeared in 2000 as a host on the TV program Oh Drama! Since 2011, she has been hosting as a co-host of the talk show The Talk. In addition she has also appeared in a variety of fictional characters on series such as Bulworth Nikki as well as Beauty Shop.
