Paula Patton (born in 1960) is an American actress. She has also directed films like Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. Her family was a middle class one in Los Angeles, she harboured many dreams in her early years. Instilling a passion for film in her daughter was something that was a gift from her mother, who was also a fan of movies. Paula was a fan of school co-curriculars and she was a huge fan of drama. She was an excellent actress and enjoyed performing with her peers. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School offered her numerous opportunities to act throughout her schooling and she picked acting to pursue a career. She was a student at an acting program at the University of Southern California for the Summer Program, and she loved it. The program gave her a three month assignment to make documentary films for PBS. Once she had completed the task well, she was able to begin working as an assistant for television documentary production. Following the completion of her project then she began putting together documentary films. While she enjoyed the work, she was aspired to become an actress. Her career began in acting with a role as Will Smith's co-star for the romance comedy Hitch. In the years since, she's appeared in many popular movies and TV shows.
